I’ve had some laser done on my lip area but it’s taking many treatment to get rid of the hairs. What about Electrolysis? Is it permanent? How many treatments? .

Recently I joined this electrolysis treatment, they informed 18 sittings are needed for upper lip and chin and they charged Rs.4500 per sitting. Is it worth taking this treatment. I faced rash and pain after treatment. I am having medium size thin hair. Please advise. .

Laser hair removal requires that you avoid sun exposure since it works best on dark hairs and light skin tones. Is the same true of electrolysis? I’m considering switching treatment options since summer is around the corner. .

Which one is more effective on the upper lip? Also which one is cheaper over all? For electrolysis do you have to shave before like you do with laser? And with electrolysis how many treatments are needed and is it every month like it is with laser? .

So I tried laser treatments for hair removal, unfortunately it didn’t work for me. They don’t tell you that it actually doesn’t work for everyone. I’m wondering if anyone has tried one of those home electrolysis kits and had good results? Or how about electrolysis at a spa or wherever they do that? .
why do they say laser is a faster overall process than electrolysis?

if they both get rid of the hairs you have, and then you have to go in once your hair growth cycles return until all the hairs are treated, shouldn’t they take the same amount of treatments? i’m confused how many traetments is typically needed for each? .
