The best way to get slick legs?

by admin on March 15, 2012

Hello. I have dark hair and fare skin, so as can be imagined, shaving my legs daily is vital. Note, I choose not to wax or use depilatories or electrolysis. So, I’m wondering from others who shave what you do for the slickest, smoothest legs possible. I’ve never had much success. I almost always have some scratchiness and a bit of noticeable stubble. I’m not looking for info about tanning or leg makeup (both help the appearance of stubble.) I’m looking for TRULY smooth legs. I’ve recently begun experimenting with plain, pure aloe gel. It’s improved the shine but isn’t doing much for the stubble. I use a good razor which I change as necessary (but, quite frankly, even a slightly new razor only a couple of days old doesn’t seem to work much better than an older one of a couple of weeks.)

Any suggestions?

have you tried using shaving gels/foam, they work to help you achieve a cleaner shave and also prevents nicks and cuts. also use lots of moisturizers after shaving to keep the skin smooth and supple. aloe vera is known for it’s healing properties. personally i go for cocco butter moisturizers as they leave a shiny sheen on my skin and the moisturizing properties is much better than others.

I have a razor called shick and it works great. Mabey shave more often but don’t dry shave that ruins the blade.

The best shave comes after having a few days of growth.
If not, you are just running your razor over subtle.

I use women’s gillette shave gel. Try soaking in warm water in the tub to soften your hairs first. My favorite razors have 3 blades.
